Pride and Predator

The title may have thrown you off a little bit--I'm sure you were thinking, "It's Pride and Prejudice", but not this time.

Elton John's Rocket Pictures is producing the movie "Pride and Predator". The movie is going to be an unusual re-imaging of the wonderful Pride and Prejudice movie in which "Austen's characters from her novel face something more than marriage and inheritance when an alien crashes on Earth and starts to eliminiate everyone it can find."

Now, if you are a fan of Austen's work as me and my girlfriend are, then you already know that this is a terrible idea. Maybe the major horror fans out there will enjoy it and maybe it will give me something to laugh at, but in the end it's going to result in a waste of time and money.
